quit playing games with my heart

Photobucket
"that's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, i like it. uh-huh uh-huh."

a little premature for this, i know. and i hope i don't jinx it by posting this victory dance photo. but isn't tsonga the cutest?! the cutest guy on the circuit is currently playing novak djokovic, or nole i don't know why, who is appearing to be a really strange guy. but still kind of likable. just hating on him a little bit now cause tsonga is losing. BUT. i believe in tsonga and i KNOW he will come back. i hope.

eck. tsonga just lost the 3rd set. shittums.

well either way round, the winner is going to play federer, my hero. so it doesn't really matter cause OF COURSE i would go for federer to win. but it would be nice to see tsonga win and do his little victory dance in his neon yellow/lime green shirt. what colour is that, seriously. but either way round. he is THE cutest. i swear.

saw some pretty funny fan boards, whatever they're called.

"tsonga can go longa." hahahhahaha. totally.

"roger federer is like a swiss knife. he always has the right tools to get out of bad situations. roger that!" or something like that. prolly a few words wrong here and there. but you get the point.

hmmm. novak djokovic looks like he has some problems. WILL HE RETIRE?

geez, i'm turning my blog into twitter.

so the match before this was federer and davydenko. was quite a scare going into it.what with davydenko beating federer in the last 2 matches they played. the one in doha only recently. so it was pretty scary. so many things on the line for federer. will he make his 23rd consecutive semi final in grand slams? will he remain at no.1? and so the match started. and i must say federer played pretty horrendously in the first match. and was still playing horrendously for the first half of the second set. AND THEN THE STUPID CHANNEL 7 HAD TO SHOW NEWS! omgggg. i swear it was the most horrible moment EVER. leaving us when federer was playing badly! are you trying to kill us or what! thank goodness for live scores on the aussie open site. though staring at the score board is totally different and feels pretty retarded. but watching the score go from 15-0 to 40-0 to 40-40 is actually pretty exciting. for reasons yet unknown. luckily, federer came back in the second half of the second set. thank the lord. and then federer went on the win the set. and the next. AT SIX-LOVE YO! coolest thing ever. and so i continued staring at the score board, wondering what was going on inside the rod laver arena. the 4th set went pretty even. they each held serve. until federer broke at er, 5 i think? AND THEN HE COULDN'T WIN MATCH POINT. which was the shittiest moment. but he broke davydenko's next serve and THANKFULLY, was able to win his match point in the next set.

and that is the story of federer's match against davydenko.

it was a pretty scary day of tennis for the top seeds. venus lost to li na. when she was up 2 match points i think. according to the commentators. and serena looked like she was going to lose too. but she did a turn around like federer did and won. which was awesome. cause azarenka's amazingly annoying with her strange noises. but she played a good game, of course. until she pretty much gave up when serena had her comeback. at one point of the match, it was pretty much just a screaming contest. it was getting ke-razy out there. seriously.

ok i think i shall stop yakking about tennis here and go back to concentrating on the match. and praying for tsonga.

GO TSONGA!

holding your scarred heart in hand

went to watch AUSTRALIAN OPEN yesterday. omggggggggg. it was a FEDERER match. double omgggggggg. and he WON. OH AM GEE, in the words of saffy. yes. it was awesomest. even though we were in the freaking last row. tsk. but it wasn't that bad actually. sure, you can't see the pores on his faces and all. but you can still see his face. pretty much. and i didn't have to squint to see the court, as i thought i might have to. yea, so it was not bad. and the atmosphere was awesome, of course. though it got really annoying when the aussie fanatics kept cheering. super super annoying. but i suppose they are entitled to their cheering and all. either way round, federer won so yes. he only lost one service game. which was awesome shits. and i must admit that when hewitt won that service game, it was quite an exciting moment. like FINALLY, kind of moment. though i was like, crap federer! but it was all fine in the end. federer did his magic, as usual, and did not disappoint. thank you, federer. :)

i shall post up some photos i managed to take yesterday. yes, they're not exactly very awesome. i was in the last row ok. and my lenses aren't exactly THAT awesome. so ya.

Photobucket
my tennis hero, roger federer, world number one.

Photobucket

Photobucket
federer in action.

Photobucket
yes, they're minute, i know. but ahwell. how else do i fit the whole court into one frame.

so yep. it was an awesome night. watched federer win in STRAIGHT sets, thank you very nice. unfortunately, was unable to find him on the practice courts to stalk him. don't suppose they stay out on practice courts till after 5pm. boo. didn't get myself a souvenir, yet. the souvenirs are crazy expensive! the jumbo wilson ball cost a freaking 35 bucks. are you crazy! think i'll go buy the poster. at least that's just 10 bucks. waaaaaay more affordable than anything else. yes, a poster to hide the dirty marks on my stupid wall.

aussie open has made me a couch potato. we were SUPPOSED to go to chapel today, again. oh yes, we didn't go on sunday because we woke up at prolly 1 or 2. usual rising time most days. so anyway, SUPPOSED to wake up at 11am to watch the henin match. but duh, obviously i didn't. woke up at 1, no 2, for goodness sake. was awaken 3 times by super loud and super scary sounding fighter planes, or something. it was damn scary i swear! i mean, you're all woozy and half asleep and you hear these really loud fighter planes sounding like they're flying RIGHT OUTSIDE your window. it totally sounds like world war three i swear! of course, after thinking about it for awhile, you then realise it's aussie day and they're prolly have parades or exhibitions or whatever and you go back to sleep. but of course, to be awaken by it 2 more times. but ahwell. oh i've totally digressed. so yes, i'm now a couch potato. though i have been for quite awhile now. since i left nus to be exact. but seriously. i think this is the longest i've sat on the sofa watching tv. just keep watching one match after another, one day after another. not that i'm complaining of course. but i do feel kind of bored. would like to go out one of these days. but unfortunately, all the exciting matches are coming up. what with quarter finals starting today. deng deng deng. fingers crossed for the awesomest federer of course. ALL THE WAY!

on the bright side. tsonga is through to the quarters as well! he plays djokovic next. hmmmmm. i really can't decide who to support. but i think, slightly leaning to the tsonga camp. he's so cute! and really funny when he plays. what's not to love. of course, djokovic is prety hansum too. with a really cool name at that. hahha. but yea. i think i'll go for tsonga.

and there's the henin vs zheng jie semis. excitings! as much as i want to support my fellow race-person, whatever the hell that means, i'm definitely supporting henin. comeback queen all the way yo! i hope she wins the aussie open. henin and federer. ooh, dream come through.

to continue with the tennis talk, went from one blog to this tumblrs thingy. quite cool. it's basically a blog but mostly filled with photos. and with the same concept of twitter where you can retweet. i suppose they call it retumblr. saw this photo and just thought it was amazingly hilarious.

Photobucket
hahahahhahahhahahahhaha.

as much as i love federer and want him to BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF nadal and remain the greatest of all time EVER, i must admit that nadal is a pretty hilarious and cute personality. plus he is a good player. damn you nadal. his facial expressions are often amazingly hilarious and his obsessive complusive arrangement of his evian bottles is the most hilraious thing ever.

here, go have fun looking at all of nadal's retarded facial expressions.

and i found another one with pictures of federer&nadal. and it's kind of gay-centric, bromance-centric tumblr. but just as hilarious.

although i do hate the photos of federer crying at aussie open 2009. it's depressing to watch him cry like that. but yes, he bounced back and that's what's important.

found this photo and thought it was amazingness. he looks like his flying! plus the i-don't-care look on his face. ya man.

Photobucket

and THIS! amazing and hilarious all at the same time. i hope he got the ball. and recovered for the next point after. i can't really remember.

Photobucket

ok. enough with tennis. according to twitter and the How I Met Your Mother production team, the show will be back for a sixth season! awesome! it's going to be "legend-wait for it!-dary!" ohmygodd. i cannot wait. yes, we can all live with a weekly dose of neil patrick harris in our lives. wheeeeeeeeee!

Photobucket
Girls Vs. Suits. hahahahhaha.

Photobucket
apparently they were on playboy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Photobucket
"ted, SUIT UP!"

and of course,

Photobucket

and i shall leave you with a quote from my favouritest (totally) Barney Stinson played by the just as awesome Neil Patrick Harris.

"It's going to be lengen- wait for it and i hope you're not lactose-intolerant cause the second half of that word is- dairy!"

caught in a bad romance

i usually cannot stand, almost hate, lady gaga, but i visited my annoying friend, qazim's, blog and that was the title of his blog. and now that annoyingly catchy song is stuck in my head and i decided to just use it as my post title. but no, i'm not caught in a bad romance. not caught in ANY kind of romance. would be nice to be. even a bad one. yes, i sound desperate. i know.

anyhoos. still moving up and down between the sisters (Elizabeth St) and the new home (Elgin St). seems like the moving is endless. we're moving the larger furniture now. like how we moved the bed today. so yes, the place looks more homely now. still empty a bit here and there. lacking tables. but there's a bed! and some plates and bowls. haha. here are the pictures. don't mind the quality. taken with my handphone. didn't bring my awesomest dslr today. boo.

Photobucket
the kitchen. still looks pretty much the same. but do note the plates and bowls and cookware. yes, almost in cooking condition, my kitchen. jamie oliver would be proud.

Photobucket
the kind of living room area. i guess you would call this place. since the tv is going to be there. next to that shelf. which holds my dvd collection. ok, more like the sister's dvd collection. but some of them are mine ok. like good ole' ka ho yuet yuen. hahah. and the overstuffed bean bag. will have to empty out some of the beans.

Photobucket
and of course, my bed. no bed sheets yet, so ya. i love those 2 pillows! bought them from ikea at roughly 9 bucks each. they're awesome. i love it. and the very cute giraffe sitting on my bed given to me by my awesomest friends- saffy, weenessa, charlene, azhar and shahrul. and the penguin i bought myself from the christmas collection from starbucks last year. there's a tiger stuck in between the pillows. that's the sister's.

so yes. my new apartment is looking homeir. aiya. forgot to take a photo of the entrance. i've already put up the shoe rack and have come to realise i don't actually have many shoes. good. all the more reason to buy more., hyuk hyuk. the carpet STILL stinks. i feel like crying. bought air wick air fresherner (how do you spell this word?) in hopes the apartment will start smelling better but no. it refuses to smell nicer. when you sit on the carpet you can actually smell that terrible terrible smell. it really REALLY smells like hamster sawdust which you haven't change for probably a month plus your hamster is dead. yes, it's that disgusting decaying smell. i don't know if i'm just imagining it or what. but i really really really, i cannot make it any more obvious, REALLY hate that smell. please let it go away soon. please.

besides that. my nose has been hurting on and off since i got here. the sister says it's cause i'm heaty. but i've been drinking water lately. well, trying to drink more at least. and it still hurts. like quite badly. and when i dig my nose (yes i do that, don't pretend you don't), the booger is red! oh dear oh dear. i hope i don't have nasal cancer, if there is such and thing and if the term is correct. i mean, nothing appears to be wrong and i would know! i've spend countless minutes shoving my nose in the mirror just to get a better view of my right nostril. yes, that's where it hurts. this is bad. and i can't go to the doctor cause i've yet to receive my insurance policy card thingy thingy. ya, whatever that's called. oh dear oh dear. i hope this goes away soon too. along with the disgusting smell in the apartment.

on the brightside, no moving tomorrow. tomorrow will be a day of fun! sort of. got to go to victoria market to get groceries. having been having much food to eat lately. after which, we're going to the arts market so that the sister can buy a new bowl for the dog, sushee, back home. after which we're going to chapel st because american apparel is having sales! whee! and perhaps we'll run into one of the williams sisters again. haha. but what are the chances. the match is already on. i wonder where they're staying. not just the williams sisters. but all the players. especially federer. i would definitely stalk federer.

which brings me to the next point. WE'RE WATCHING AUSSIE OPEN ON MONDAY! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. damn exciting! i just REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that it's a federer match i'm watching. otherwise, i think i'll just kill myself. shall try to convince the sister to go early so that i can stalk federer and hopefully get an autograph from him. hur hur hur.

yea, that's about it for all. longest post to date i must say. till the next time then!

or are we ashes and wine

moved into the new apartment yesterday. wheeeee. ok fine, not exactly moved into. went to collect the keys around lunch time and cleaned up the place here and there. the place REALLY REALLY stinks. it's terrible. the sister says its the carpet or something. according to the agent, the carpet smells like that cause it was just washed. which should be a good thing. if it didn't stink that much. so we went to buy carpet deodorent (who knew there was such a thing!) and sprayed ALOT of it. but alas, went to the apartment today and it STILL stank. argh!

other than that, the apartment is pretty awesome. a few black marks here and there. the previous tenant is annoying me alot. there was clothes left in the washing machine. gross to the max. the kitchen area is quite retarded. the fridge really stank too and it was really dirty. and according to the sister, the previous owner prolly owned a pet cause there was lots of animal hair all over the place while she was vacuuming the carpet. but i suppose what's the point of complaining about all these things. i've already signed the lease, i can't be backing out of this apartment anymore. so yea. what the hell. it's still a pretty awesome place. after i'm done decorating and all, i'm sure i'll grow to love it. yes yes.

here are some photos! when the apartment is still pretty empty and un-decorated.

Photobucket
the doorway. pretty spacious. and the intercom thing which is HILARIOUS. there's actually a camera so you can see who's at the door. and when you talk and you go up to the speaker area, the camera is shooting right at your nose. it kind of looks like those big nose dogs. if you understand what i mean. i shall take a picture of that one day. that's when you're outside by the way. as in, you're viewing your guest's nostrils. eck, that makes no sense.

Photobucket
the toilet. which is pretty nice. it's got shelves on the side, which you can see. really useful. i can stuff all my toiletries there. the washing machine is behind the door. yes, awesome. i couldn't stand the thought of communal laundry. yeesh.

Photobucket
the little corner separating the "living room" and the entrance. will prolly put my chest of drawers for clothes there or something. you can't really see it here, but the tv connection point (whatever it's called) if high on the wall. which is pretty much the most retarded thing ever. now how am i going to plug in my tv? seriously.

Photobucket
the kitchen with the sister. lots of cabinets, which is a good thing. sadly, the microwave is just a microwave so there will be no baking for me. i'm sorry jamie oliver, i tried. the tile area is pretty small, a little spastic. shall not do deep frying too often otherwise i'll dirty the carpets.

Photobucket
the "living room", i guess. or should i say bedroom. since the bed's going to go there. ahwell. the sister picked up the book shelf in some random room where it seems people are dumping there stuff. saw it at ikea today at 30 bucks i think. or something. whee.

Photobucket
and the couryard. yes, pretty nice. i think so too. wish there were plants though. and not just soil. or whatever you call that. maybe i should try to find a cheap lounge chair to put outside. that'd be nice.

yep, that's about. shall put up more photos as the place starts to look more like home. went to ikea today to get some stuff. so yes, the place will start looking more filled really soon.

well, that's about it for today. till the next time then.

when you try your best but you don't succeed

another day spent at home. we actually went out. for like an hour. was planning on watching fantastic mr fox but it wasn't exactly available. so after lunch, at about 1.30pm, we walked about a bit. a bit being going into diva. and that was about it. sat outside hudsons for awhile deciding if we should go somewhere and came home in the end. this extended holiday is turning out to be not as fun as i imagined. bah.

so aussie opens starts today. sharapova lost. first match of the day. not very surprising in my opinion. she's had quite a few early round exits recently is i'm not wrong. murray won, i think. fell asleep after the first set or so. sadly, nadal won. but that was quite obvious. tomorrow's going to be an exciting day! serena, venus, federer. woohoo! sadly, can't be there to watch cause we're selling one of the beds and the person is coming to collect it tomorrow. bah. so now we're waiting for thursday to see how it goes. tickets for the night matches are already sold out. and knowing my luck, federer is prolly playing the night matches. therefore it's sold out. life sucks i swear. i HAVE to watch federer play. i just HAVE to. hopefully, we'll get lucky and federer will once again be playing the morning matches and we'll get to watch him. but my logic is that they switch it around? morning matches one day and night matches the other. bah. my luck/life sucks.

my stupid itunes is still giving me problems. i've done every single bloody thing suggested in the itunes help page and it is still not working. i'm so damn frustrated. thinking of downloading itunes again but what if that doesn't work and i've just wasted another 80mb. i hate how aussie internet works. seriously. and i can't find any place with free wifi. could you not be so cheapo for goodness sake! argh.

ok. enough ranting for today. i'm sure there are people out there in worse off situations than me. i should be thankful. yes. getting the keys for my new home, whee!, this wednesday. quite exciting. can't wait to move in. can't wait to decorate! i'm going to stick all my photos and all my polaroids on the wall. it's going to be awesome. yes ah.

alrighty then. that's about it for today. shall go read the news or something.

joyful sorrow clementine

don't know why but that song suddenly popped into my head. i remember we were singing it while taking a break from mahjong on my last night in singapore before coming over to melbourne. zhenghong actually knew the lines to the song and we were all super amazed. him being the most chinese person i know. knowing lines to an english song. it was quite funny.

my stupif itunes is giving me problems. and so is my ipod. technically. i can't seem to install/sync apps into my ipod. the first time i did it it was ok. but subsequently, it never starts when i sync it into my ipod. i have to restart my stupid ipod and sync all my bloody songs into the ipod before it'll work again. which is amazingly time consuming and very annoying. i am not restarting my ipod ever again cause i like my high score on coldplay tap tap revenge, thank you very much. i hope itunes works now so i can try and see if the stupid app synching is still being a bitch. anyone else has that problem?

was supposed to wake up at 11am today. read on roger federer's facebook fan page that some tennis players were having some fund raising event at melbourne park today at 2pm to raise funds for the haitian earthquake. i was soooooo eager to go. but i didn't hear my alarm and woke up at 2.11pm instead. was really quite annoyed with myself. i'm never setting the alarm on my ipod again. it's not my ipod's fault, i know. i just keep forgetting to increase the volume before i go to sleep and therefore never hear it. daaaaamn annoying. really wished i had woken up on time and went to melbourne park. one, it's for a good cause. two, i get to meet roger federer. ok not meet, see. but still! how cool is that. and oh yes, it WAS venus williams we saw the other day. DANG. should totally have asked for a photo. she looked friendly enough. zzzzzzzzz.

speaking of famous people i would love to meet, i shall list them down. just for the fun of it. hur hur. not in any particular order.

1) guy berryman, the bassist (is that how you spell it? 1 or 2 s?) from coldplay. well actually, yes. i think he would be the first famous person i would like to meet. like i told my sister the other day, i think i would just die if i ever see guy berryman in person. and no, the concert i attended didn't count since i was sooooo far away from him. boo.

2) chris martin, the lead singer of coldplay. duh. who wouldn't want to meet him.

3) roger federer. COULD HAVE HAD A TODAY! argh.

4) angelina jolie. haha. don't know why, but ya.

5) brad pitt. c'mon. it's brad pitt.

6) leonardo d'caprio. i hope that's how you spell his name. damn.

7) ryan gosling! omgomgomgomgomg.

i'm trying to remember who i follow on twitter.

8) raymond lam! my oh-so-handsome ah ho from moonlight resonance. sooooo hansum. meeting him would make me so hoi sum. hur hur hur.

9) simon pegg. i think he's hilarious. run fat boy run!

10) OMG. how could i forgot the absolutely awesome NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. go for barney!

11) the cast of glee. whee!

hmm. yea. that's about it for now i think. may add on later if i ever think of anymore.

i don't understand the weather in melbourne. like seriously. according to my laptop, it's 12 degrees celcius (shit. how many spelling errors am i going to make today.) right now. like wth! it's suppose to be summer. hello! not that i'm complaining. i much rather it be cool/cold. but still! it's freaking summer. and the next thing you know, it'll be 40+ degrees and we'll be hearing of bush fires again. omggggg. and i'm still trying to get use to the excessive amount of daylight. it's just weird. totally totally weird.

ok. i think that's enough ranting for today. shall go try to work on itunes now.

till the next time then!

i love rock and roll

yes, i have decided that all my post titles shall be lines from songs. you may find it pretentious and all that crap. but hell, i don't really care. so there. i went with "i love rock and roll" today cause the song is pretty much permanently lodged in my head for the rest of the night. been playing guitar hero 3 on my handphone for the past hour or so and there you go. i don't suppose any other post titles would be apt for now.

so anyways. i'm alone at home right now. the sister went out for dinner with her friends. she said she won't be home too late. ya right. ok. i know i'm sounding crazy. but i'm bored! and i'm waiting for her to come home so we can continue out wonderful hongky drama, ka ho yuet yuen, or better known in english as moonlight resonance. i'm bored. and therefore i'll prolly fall asleep soon.

went down to chapel today. wasn't much to see actually. except for that GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS (it looks funny when typed in caps 3 times) leather-esque coat from dotti. oh m gee (as saffy would say), i totally looked the coolest in it. hahaha. yes i know, so full of myself. but seriously! it was the coolest jacket ever la. but the sister says it's totally not worth 90 bucks cause it's not even real leather which i totally agree. but it is still the coolest thing ever and it's got my freaking size! that's the bloody worse part. arghhhhhh. now i really wish i was FILTHY FILTHY rich. bah.

that aside. i was reading my email just now. i'm still receiving twe alumni, or as i like to call us, twa, updates. yes, i know my sentence structures are terrible. that aside, it was amazingly depressing when i read the "closing line".

"So once again, please reply the mail if anything, or better, sms me. You can reach me at xxxxxxxx, or you can sms Kang Zhuang, at xxxxxxxx"

when it used to say:

"Yep, that's about it. Any other queries, please feel free to ask me or Yimei.

Rickson: xxxxxxxx
Yimei: xxxxxxxx"

yes, i know it was by my own choice to leave all that behind and yes i know i'll make new friends but it's just so depressing. i really miss my alumni. i don't know. ahwell. i just really love my alumni and it kind of sucks that i will not be able to play with them in the upcoming concert. we may not be the best alumni, but it doesn't really matter. at least we all like each other. we're all civil with each other. we can have fun with each other. and i think that's what's important. alumni is to have fun isn't it. having performances are important, yes. but i don't know. i think i go back for alumni because of the friends i have there. yea, that's what alumni means to me.

ok. i have to stop emo-ing already. so yes, that's about it for today. i hope my sister comes home soon before i fall asleep.

OHOHOH! i'm convinced i saw venus williams today at wittner in chapel. my sister wouldn't believe me. but yea, i do admit that kind of doesn't look extremely like venus. could be one of the non playing williams sisters. but still! i'm pretty convinced it's venus. i shall see. really hoping to be able to watch at least one match this australian open. live, not on tv. it'll be the coolest. like the dotti jacket. i swear.

ok then. goodnight world.

Thursday, January 14, 2010

and so it is.

i realise that my blog name, is it?, kind of makes it sound like i'm a new born or something. musings of a new life. haha. yes well. coming up with a blog name was impossible. everything seems to be taken. and so i decided with something. well. i don't know how to put it.

my sister told me to start a blog. again. i told her nobody would read it. and she said she would. so here i am. starting a new blog. after my failed one which stemed back to secondary school angst. that sounds wrong. and there was the other failed one which came about because i wanted to read my sister's blog which she locked. so tadah. here i am. once again blogging.

so, musingsofanewlife? i figured that this year would be kind of a "new life" for me. a start of something new. which is totally a song title from high school musical. i know. disgusting. but ya. i'm starting out a new life i suppose. here in melbourne. leaving behind the comforts of home and starting on this new journey. so yes. this is the musingsofanewlife. that looks like a totally alien word. so there.

i have actually been here, in good ol' melbourne, for awhile now. yes. it has been one month already. i just realised. the past one month has felt like a holiday mostly. like back in 2008 and june 2009 when i came to visit my sister. a one month holiday. but nope, no holiday this time. i'm here to stay for good. well for the next year at least.

sometimes, it still feels kind of strange to wake up and be seeing all these strange things. things that weren't always there when i wake up. i still find it pretty amazing that i'm actually doing this. actually studying in melbourne. yes, i know i should prolly get over it already. but still. it won't be for another 2 months or so before i start school. so yes, more bumming around for me then. i've gotten very used to the bumming life style. i'm afraid i won't be able to readapt to going back to school. crap. but that comes later. so we'll just take it one day at a time shall we.

so being here makes you miss everything back home alot. like my sister said the other time, nobody ever says they miss their family, they only miss their friends. so i shall say it then. i do so miss my mum. i definitely don't miss her nagging. and scolding. but i kind of miss her presence. it's comforting to know you always have someone to go home to. if you know what i mean. and i really miss that silly smelly dog back home. oh what i would give to be able to hug her again. sigh. i miss my dad. but i've gotten quite used to not having him around. all my life it was that way. so yea. but i do still miss him. not his scolding and nagging, of course. but yes. you understand what i mean.

and i miss my friends. long gone are the times when we could just meet up any day/night for supper or whatsoever. yes. i miss being able to just call anyone of them up and yak away. i know they'll still be there when i return at the end of the year. but there's no denying things are going to change. and it's going to suck when that happens. but hopefully, things won't change too drastically.

here are my beautiful friends.

Photobucket
my crazy awesome friends from starbucks. i strangely miss making coffee more than you can imagine.

Photobucket
my lovely jc band mates. to whom i think i bitch the most to.

Photobucket
my awesome awesome awesome secondary school mates. who have known me almost half my life and have tolerated all my crap for the past 7 years or so.

Photobucket
my fantastic alumni mates. who give me a reason to get out of bed that early on a saturday morning.

yes. i miss them all like crap. almost, ALMOST, wished i could be home now. ahwell. and yes, i'll find a way to tweek the stupid format the next time.

so yes. i think i shall end off here. in about 2 weeks time, my sister will be going home. tragically, it feels like everyone is leaving me behind. yes, very dramatic. almost like some hongky drama. but yea well. i guess it's about time i'm left alone to grow up.

my sister was supposed (kind of) to apply for pr/tr/whatever to work here for prolly the next 2 years or so. but the charges were quite horrendously high and the job prospects weren't exactly awesome. so after much delibertion, she decided not to stay. which makes me really sad. cause maybe, just maybe, of all the things i'll miss the most back home, i think i'll miss my sister the most. (yes i know, aww. i'm not just writing this because i know you'll be reading it. ha haha ha ha ha. you know, the ted mosby laugh when he sees naked women) it's been a long 2 and a half years without her at home. i had to bear the brunt of my mum's nagging, which she now has to. ha. but other than that, it was fun to have my sister around. sure we scream at each other all the time. but still, good times good times. i miss going shopping with her. haha. i was hoping she would be able to stay on in melbourne. cause i missed her. but ahwell. guess it'll be another few more years and who knows what after that. yes, i suppose it's time for me to grow up and not depend on my elder sister anymore.

so yes. here we shall start my musingsfromanewlife where i shall dump more angsty, bitchy, emo and altogether nonsensical crap from my everyday life.
so happy reading, yiszetan.

and for the rest of you: why hello there, stranger.
