nothing's going to change my world

another week of school's over, another week starting real soon. school is passing by really fast i must say. it's already week 4! already one month in school! what the hell! super fast. not that i'm complaining or anything. enjoying school still, so far. though i have an essay due 31st march and i only have 120 words right now. which is only my introduction. yes, my essay is well on its way. i can't seem to piece even a few sentences together! and i'm obviously panicking about it since i'm happily blogging away here. shittums. need to continue (not start, thank goodness) on that essay real soon!

i have been DYING to go shopping lately. most prolly due to the fact that i have homework which really needs doing. and of course, the brain just wants to do the very opposite. so i'm just looking forward to next wednesday for now. which is when the essay will be due. and i'll be free! for a week and a half because it's easter week! woohoo! easter = very good excuse to overdose in chocolate. woohoo. would really love to go on a road trip somewhere. but i don't have enough friends. boo. haha.

speaking of friends! let me introduce you to my new friends.

well, these are my closer friends at least. not like as if i have many more friends. but yes. the little chinese girl is sok shin. whom i met on attachment to big splash while she was on attachment from kallang. coincidence of the year. but yay! new friend. the other girl is maisarah. cool name eh? though i just call her sarah. hur hur. we take french together. woohoo. but we met during academic advice day so yes yes. that's us eating AWESOME DURAIN ICE CREAM. woohoo! haha. yes, so those are my new friends.

here are some really cute ducklings i saw at vic market! quite long ago. can't remember when. but you see them there all the time. chicks also. and all sorts of other poultry. but they smell really bad. but look really cute.

should have taken a better picture of the brown ones. they are so cute. maybe i should buy one and keep as a pet. hahha. totally.

went to sydney road on friday with sarah cause she needed to get some meat and stop being vegetarian. yes, all the way to sydney road for halal meat. which isn't that far i've come to realise and not as interesting as i remembered. the very nice bookshop is still there and i wanted to buy this really funny book which is kind of a journal with instructions in each page. like wear your clothes inside out for one month. hilarious. totally should have bought them. and really nice green boots at kinki gerlinki which i was seriously considering to buy but they were freaking 200bucks. so ya. totally out of budget. so now i'm just looking forward to next next wednesday when i can finally engage in some retail therapy. woohoo.

oh yes, sydney road. this shop had humongous watermelon things. but i don't suppose they're watermelons since their long-ish. right? i have no idea.

looks quite freaky if you ask me. and the veges just look really nice and green. i don't know why. haha.

ok i'm watching tv and i can't really concentrate on blogging right now. so i guess, it'll be till the next time then! byeeee.

i get to breathe, you can't take that from me

since the last time i blogged, i have officially become a student of melbourne university. yessah. hhaha. well, i haven't collected my student card since they refused to use my identity card as identification. which i don't really understand. but never mind, school is so damn near. plus i need to go there tomorrow to check some stuff. so yes, i will get my student card tomorrow and i'll take a photo of it. just for fun. haha.

enrolment was on thursday. academic advice day they called it. basically it was all the course talks and international student briefings which were pretty retarded. telling us not to jaywalk and overload the power sockets. like, ok. the important part of the day was that i got to enrol. whee. and on friday, it was an appointment with the student advisor to help with getting your modules and all. my appointment was at 1030am and they made me wait till 1130. irritants. but it was a good one hour wait, made a new friend. yay. and a potential house mate at that. yes, must start looking for house mates. hur hur. so yes, now i have 2 new friends. my life is complete. totally.

yes. sounds exciting right. haha. still not too sure about Darwinism, Dangerous Earth and Drugs that shape the Society. Darwinism and Drugs are breadth subjects. wanted to take some history-ish subject called Witches and Witch Hunting in Europe. doesn't that sound way more exciting. haha. ahwell. guess i'll think about it again for the next few days or something. as for my cores, they're pretty much fixed. there's only so many cores for me to take see. not that i'm complaining. i'm loving my cores. they all sound so interesting. as compared to what i would have been taking if i were still in nus. awesomeness.

it has been 2 weeks without how i met your mother. life i tragic. they won't return for another week. which is even more tragic. zzzzz. so in the meantime, i've been filling in my time by watching other shows. i've finished 30 rock and now i'm planning to finish sex and the city within the next few days. i already finished 2 seasons yesterday. i'm crazy. i know.

anyway, while i was watching satc, i noticed there was something wrong with this frame:

haha. i wonder if the crew ever noticed that. yea, i've got nothing better to do, i know. but just thought it was pretty interesting.

a few days back i decided i wanted to eat wantons. so i went to buy wanton skin from the asian grocer. and i made wantons. beef wantons to be exact. yes, i still can't tell minced beef and pork apart. shit. made it in tom yum soup. hahah. ridiculous combination i know, but i thought it'd be ok. it wasn't very ok. and mostly due to the tom yum paste? it was really not nice. bah. must remember the brand and never buy it again. anyway, i thought i'd get creative with the wantons. haha.

hahaha. i'm a terrible wanton wrapper. or whatever. they didn't stick very well and all the minced beef just fell out. it was like eating wanton skin only. which wasn't that bad. initially. but yea.

i'm having fresh strawberries and strawberry yoghurt for lunch. haha. healthy or what. but the fresh strawberries are super sour. yuck. i must try a different store next time. will prolly have to go grocery shopping soon. running out of vegetables. zzzz. i really should get one of those market trolleys. so must easier. and i can just walk to vic market. save money on transport. howells.

made bread and butter pudding on friday. at aggy's place. soo nice. i love it. haha. jamie oliver rocks.

which reminds me. i think i can't go for jamie oliver anymore. zzz. should i? i still have enough money. but yea. hmmm. worried about travelling alone at night. bah.

oh and i bought the pants from forever new! they were too gorgeous to resist. hahaha. here's the next thing i'm planning to buy. hahahah.

super cute right! they're at 40bucks, which i think is a pretty reasonable price. plus postage of 18bucks which is quite a sucker but still reasonable priced in my opinion. super cute. i love it. can't decide which pattern though. loads more over here:
